Forus Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Forus, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use Forus.

2. Experimental Software

Forus is experimental software provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. You acknowledge that:

• The service may contain bugs, errors, or interruptions
• Features may change or be removed without notice
• Data loss may occur
• You use Forus at your own risk

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Forus. By using Forus, you represent that you meet this requirement.

4. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and all activity under it. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us of any unauthorized use.

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of content you post on Forus. By posting, you grant Forus a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute your content as necessary to operate the service.

You are solely responsible for your content. You agree not to post:

• Content that violates any law
• Content that infringes others' intellectual property rights
• Harassment, threats, or hate speech
• Sexually explicit content involving minors
• Spam or malicious content

Forus is not liable for user-generated content. We do not pre-screen content and are not responsible for content posted by users.

6. Privacy

Forus is a social platform. Content you post may be visible to other users. Private messages are stored on our servers and are not guaranteed to be private. Do not share sensitive information through Forus.

7. Moderation and Termination

Forus may, at its sole discretion and without prior notice:

• Remove any content for any reason
• Suspend or terminate any account for any reason
• Modify or discontinue the service

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Forus and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, use, or profits, arising from your use of the service.

Forus's total liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid to Forus, if any.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Forus and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these terms.

10. Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Texas. You waive any objection to venue in these courts.

11. Changes to Terms

Forus may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.
